Hi, my name is Matt. Doing a little video about my RTA outdoor kitchen build today. Going to show you a little bit of what we did. Sort of all started with a big

0:15
grill. That was the first thing I wanted in an outdoor kitchen was about the biggest grill I could get so I can do the the most amount of cooking at one time. So, it started with that and then just kind of kept adding appliances and counter space and things that I wanted

0:30
in an outdoor kitchen kind of kept adding on. But a lot of what about RTA that attracted me to it is the construction and uh build of the actual walls. This is all poured concrete, cast

0:45
concrete, very solid and uh you can do some unique things. We went with the white plank look as opposed to, you know, rock or brick or some of the other things you’re limited to in an outdoor kitchen. With their cast product, you

1:00
have a lot of different options. And that was one of the things that attracted us to RTA was we wanted to go with that kind of white plank look to start. And then the countertop, they have a lot of different options available on the countertop. And Tanner, my design guy, was very helpful in

1:15
helping me pick one that would kind of weather the way we want it to. and and be useful in the way we intend to use the kitchen. The premise of the style of it was the white plank and then the gray countertop. And uh wanted to do a big

1:30
maxiz grill. Very happy with the way the grill came out. And then the second item was a flat top griddle. This is what my wife really wanted. Using the the flat top griddle feels a little bit more like cooking in her kitchen. So, she really wanted this

1:45
so that she can just pop out here and use the grill um more easily than having to fire up the big barbecue. And uh the under cabinet space or under counter space was a big part of the kitchen. And one of the things that I liked best

2:00
about RTA is their panels are pretty thin, especially compared to a cinder block construction and things like that. And because the panels are thin, you get maximum storage space underneath, which is a very nice feature. You can store

2:15
tons of stuff underneath this kitchen. And we ended up being a pretty long L-shape. By the time we kept adding things, we wanted dual trash receptacle for recycle and regular. So, as you keep

2:30
adding appliances that you want, your kitchen gets a little bit bigger. But having this much countertop gives you a lot of under counter storage which is very nice. The outdoor refrigerator is really nice. I’ve had in the past cheapy

2:45
Home Depot outdoor well they’re not even outdoor they’re just little refrigerators and I put them in the outdoor and they don’t last very long. And uh so yeah they’re a lot cheaper but they really don’t last. Having a nice built-in outdoor rated refrigerator is

3:00
pretty nice. And then the the little bar area here is a really nice feature. You have like an ice bin there and uh you can have, you know, bottles of wine, different things, and you can have, you know, your limes and whatnot. So, this

3:15
is a really nice feature. You got your bottle opener and and uh a little trough to bottle caps, etc. So, this is this is really nice. And when you have a big party, everybody sort of congregated around this area. It was kind of the

3:30
center of the kitchen. So, that’s pretty much the wrap up of our outdoor kitchen and our RTA design and build process. Again, real happy, real pleased with everything from start to finish and the company and their attention to detail

3:45
and their customer service was really amazing. I would highly recommend them to anybody who’s thinking about doing an outdoor kitchen.
