The inspiration for this design came from Tamara’s own RTA island. And that’s where the benefits come in! For the past year, Tamara’s outdoor kitchen has been a staple of her backyard. As soon as the weather gets warm… She’s outside cooking all sorts of delicious barbecue! And one of the things Tamara loves most about her RTA outdoor kitchen?
It’s built to last.
Out in Kansas… Her outdoor kitchen has seen the full spectrum of crazy weather. Freezing temperatures, snow, rain, sleet, hail… And it held up perfectly through it all! This is no small feat! Most outdoor kitchen solutions are unable to handle the stresses of extreme weather.
They may fare alright at first… But after a season or two? You’re looking at repairs and replacements. Not so with an RTA outdoor kitchen. The concrete used in our islands is rated for 100 years. So rest assured… You will have plenty of years of enjoyment.

Another benefit is the ease of assembly. As you’ll see in the beginning of the video… RTA islands come together using a simple, panelized system. You bolt the panels together, place appliances, then drop in the countertop. That’s really it! The process couldn’t be easier.
