Recently, we worked with Ward Schraeder on his personal outdoor kitchen. Not familiar? Ward is the co-host of Magnolia Network’s Bargain Mansions with his daughter, Tamara Day. And we have to say… His grill island couldn’t be more stunning!
Let’s take a closer look at this beautiful outdoor kitchen. First, you’ll notice this island is situated under a covered patio. This is excellent if you want to be grilling outdoors… Rain or shine. The island itself features a gorgeous black plank finish, with light gray granite countertops. This aesthetic is perfect for any modern backyard! And for layout… Ward opted for a U-shaped outdoor kitchen. This allows for maximum cooking, socializing, and serving space. So, what are some of the features of this beautiful outdoor kitchen?
Well… We’ll move from left to right.
First, you’ll find a pull out trash can. It’s not the most glamorous feature… But it gives your guests a space to dispose of trash. Which keeps your backyard tidy, of course! Next, you’ll find an outdoor refrigerator. This will keep refreshing beverages handy whenever you need it. Moving to the center island… There’s a Coyote refreshment center.
You have a sink for hand washing or light dish washing. You’ll also find an integrated drop-in cooler. This is perfect for keeping cocktail garnishes cool… Or more beverages! Below the refreshment center are double access doors. This simply allows you access to the interior of your island.
Moving a bit further to the right… There’s a triple drawer storage option. There’s plenty of space for your utensils and other party accessories! Even further, you’ll find a power burner sleeve. This appliance is excellent for large lobster boils and the like! Now, there’s one more island to explore on this beautiful outdoor kitchen.
And this final island houses the gas grill! The main powerhouse of your outdoor kitchen. Beneath you’ll find a combo storage option. There’s drawers for storage… And an access door to get into the island. There is one more aspect to this island you might have missed! Off to the side… Ward also has a kamado cooker with a matching stand!
