Ever wonder where RTA Outdoor Living products are made? Well… You’re in luck! This video will show you every nook and cranny of our manufacturing facility in Cambridge City, Indiana.
And to top it all off… Ward Schraeder has joined us to give you the full tour! Not familiar with Ward? He’s the co-host of Magnolia Network’s Bargain Mansions with his daughter, Tamara Day.
But let’s get back to the manufacturing facility. While our outdoor kitchens are fairly straightforward to assemble… There’s actually a lot of work involved behind the scenes to make them this way! In fact… There are 5 separate departments required to make your RTA outdoor kitchen a reality.
Ward will walk you through all of them… But let’s briefly explain them here. First, you’ll see RTA Outdoor Living’s shipping and receiving department. Think of it like a shipping port. Outdoor kitchens are shipped out… And materials to make your island are received! Another department you’ll see is the concrete processing area. This is where all of the concrete is mixed and prepared for pouring!
Next is the layout and casting department. Quite a lot happens here! The molds for your custom island panels and countertops are created… Then, the concrete is poured in and left to cure. Once everything is cured and looking perfect… Your islands will move to the crating and fulfillment department.
This is where your island panels and countertops get carefully packaged. We’re so careful… That each island gets a custom crate! And then we come full circle. Once your island is crated… It’s back to the shipping department to deliver your RTA outdoor kitchen!
Now you’ve seen it all! No more mystery on how RTA Outdoor Living products are made. If you’re ready to get started with your very own outdoor kitchen… Reach out to us! We’d be honored to help you with your project.
