Coyote Gas Grill Electrical Requirements

You’re going to get a Coyote gas grill for your outdoor kitchen… But you’re not sure what the electrical requirements are. Well, fret not! This is a question we get all the time, and we’re about to teach you everything you need to know!

First, we have the ignition. Coyote grills utilize a piezo starter ignition, which does not require electricity to function. So no, you don’t need electricity to be able to start up your grill! However, there are two things your Coyote gas grill does need electricity for. If you have a C-series grill, you’ll need it for the interior grill lighting. For the S-series grill, you’ll need it for both interior grill lighting and the rotisserie motor.

So depending on the Coyote gas grill you choose… It boils down to needing either one or two outlets. For a C-series grill, you’ll need one outlet inside the island. For an S-series grill, you’ll need an outlet on the interior and exterior of your island. The interior outlet will run your grill lights, and the exterior outlet will run your rotisserie kit.

Now, in terms of the outlet placement… You have quite a few options! Either way, you’ll want to keep the outlet fairly close to your Coyote gas grill. You don’t want the cord to be stretched to the max, keep some slack in the line! For the rotisserie kit, you have three good placement options. You can place the outlet up against the wall, on the side of your island panel, or as a pop up outlet in your countertop. But no matter how you set up the outlets for your Coyote gas grill… We’re with you every step of the way! Any additional questions you may have, we’re here to help!

one Outlet inside the island structure for interior lighting and LED lights on The Grille knobs and another external power source for the rotisserary the rotisserary motor on the coyote grills comes standard on the left hand side of the Grille and the motor has a short

cord that comes out of the motor and requires power the cord for the rotisserary could be plugged into any standard 110 outlet just like the power cord for the lights the difference here is you will want the power source for the rotisserie to be located outside the

island here are some of the most common ways to make sure that you have a power source to plug your rotisserie into some people are putting their Islands up against the wall and have outlets on their back wall but in the event you don’t you can easily incorporate an

outlet into the your back wall that the island is going up against and use that to plug your rotisserie motor into if your grille is going on the end of your Island you can incorporate an external power outlet right into the side of your Island to plug directly into the final

option you have is to incorporate a pop-up Outlet into your countertop that is close by to your grill so you can plug the cord in that way well there you have it a quick guide to providing your gas grill with the electrical sources it needs if you have any questions feel
