Deep Dive on Built-In Grill Classes

Currently planning a grill station… But not sure what’s the best grill for outdoor kitchen? Well don’t fret. You’re in the right place! Before you make a decision on what grill you want for your outdoor kitchen… It’s essential to understand the concept of grill class. There’s three classes to learn about: economy, premium, and luxury. While the video will cover all three classes in depth… We’ll give you a short introduction here.

First, we’ll begin with economy grills. If this is your first outdoor kitchen… You’ll likely be familiar with this class! Economy grills are readily available in most big box and hardware stores. Think places like Lowes and Home Depot. Another hallmark of economy grills is affordability. Most options are inexpensive and easy to invest in. And although they’re convenient to find and budget friendly… Economy options are not the best grill for outdoor kitchen. Why? Quite simply… They’re not built to last. Although inexpensive, there’s a significant tradeoff with economy grills. You won’t get high material quality… A long term warranty… And often, you won’t get a ton of support from customer service. This means you’ll have to replace your grill shortly after you’ve bought it.

This is a huge headache! Especially when you realize that economy grills are not designed to be built into an outdoor kitchen. Nearly all economy grills are designed to rest on a cart. Which means, they have to be modified to be placed in your island. Not only does this often void the warranty… It also creates challenges when you have to replace your grill. It’s not going to be a quick swap! Now… Want to know what the best grill for outdoor kitchen is? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!

your grill you will also have a harder time getting these grills up to a really high heat when cooking the price range for economy level grills will be around 500 to 1500 and with the lower price points you can expect the grills to be manufactured out of lower grade

01:35
materials that aren’t necessarily designed to last you a lifetime economy grills are a great starter option and they certainly serve a purpose in the market but we wouldn’t ever recommend building your outdoor kitchen structure around an economy Grill since your

01:49
outdoor kitchen structure should be designed to last you a lifetime your grill should be too that brings us to premium class appliances these are usually going to be found at specialty appliance stores or online retailers this is where you’re going to start

02:03
seeing a higher quality of construction and Appliance brands that have a full array of appliances to choose from to go along with your grill Brands like bull Blaze coyote lion and a few others fall into this premium class with premium class appliances you will

generally see 304 stainless steel construction on the appliances that will be warranted for a lifetime premium class grills are where you will start to see grills that are considered built-in models meaning they are specifically designed to be built into an outdoor kitchen

02:36
premium appliances will be a jump up in pricing on the lower end of the spectrum premium grills will start around fifteen hundred dollars and can go all the way up to about four thousand dollars or more for the higher end options with the jump in price you will obviously get a

02:52
bump in quality along with better performance and additional features this is where you can start to get more versatility out of your grille by adding things like infrared burners rotisserie attachments smoker boxes and other accessories the last class available to you is the

03:08
luxury glass this is where you will find the top of the line options if you are looking to splurge and enjoy the finest quality that the outdoor Appliance Market has to offer you may want to consider upgrading into the luxury class Brands like fire magic Lynx Heston

03:24
Alfresco and a few others are considered luxury Brands this is where you will find the flashy bells and whistles and most exotic upgrades you could imagine these grills are honestly great pieces of equipment as a whole the luxury class is where you will start to see features

03:40
like spring assisted hoods and digital controls these appliances are obviously designed to be built into outdoor kitchens and you will see a lifetime warranty on pretty much all of these appliances you’re probably curious about the price jump to enjoy these upgrades

03:54
