Intro

[Music] so when i started designing my rta outdoor kitchen line i started with this classic detail of the x design but the next step in the process is this free design tool by rta outdoorliving.com and it makes it so easy to lay out your entire space let me show you how it works

Layout

00:29
so on the rta outdoor living dot com website it’s so easy to lay out your kitchen there’s all kinds of options and it’s a five-step process so first you’ve got to decide what layout that you really want you could do linear l-shaped u-shaped a galley i’m gonna go with a linear

0:48
Size

00:48
next step we just go straight to the size and for the kitchen that i’m designing i’m gonna go with the seven foot island size [Music] and then we’re gonna go to the appliance layout and this is where you get to get a little creative with what

01:08
items you want put into your kitchen for me i know i wanted the grill front and center where it’s nice in the center where you’ve got countertop space left and right but also storage below with a mini fridge is what i’m thinking on the left and a trash can on the right

1:30
Appliances

01:31
so this one is perfect then we can go to picking which appliances we want to go with this program already knows what’s going to fit in each of these spaces and so you can just click through to see which appliances you want i’m wanting to go with just your basic standard grill

01:50
and then i’m thinking for right here a mini fridge would be really nice [Music] then having some storage under here is fantastic because this is exactly where all of the grilling tongs and spatulas and gloves all get hidden under here so they’re not hanging out messy in my kitchen

02:09
and then on the right everybody needs a trash can so this is exactly what i’m thinking and then let’s take a peek at the 3d view the awesome thing about this is that you can actually see what this is gonna look like the concrete top

2:25
Finished Design

02:25
and for my design i’m actually gonna have the x detail right here on the side and two x’s on the face of it so you’re gonna have a really crisp clean design you can see exactly how that’s going to lay out and how easy it is to work in a space like this now all it is is

02:46
pick out your countertop and your finished style picked the concrete now let’s do the finish style and the x detail will be right here and now let’s just get a free quote [Music] all right it’s as easy as this now rta will take this and create a prototype for me [Music] you
