Outdoor Kitchen Sink | 3 Premium Options

If you’re building a BBQ island… One of the most popular appliances to consider is an outdoor kitchen sink. It’s for good reason, too. Adding a sink to your island is an incredibly practical choice. Everyone can wash their hands… You can use it to wash dishes… And if you fancy yourself a mixologist, a sink will make the home bartending experience a lot more enjoyable. However, there are quite a few different outdoor kitchen sink options out there… And it can get quite confusing! So in this video, we’ll discuss the top three options from Coyote Outdoor Living.

First up, it’s the 16” x 18” sink. Of the three, this is the most basic offering from Coyote. This sink has a medium sized basin, which is suitable for both hand washing and dish washing. It’s also constructed with 304 grade stainless steel… Offering superior rust and corrosion resistance in the outdoor environment. However, there aren’t really any additional features here. This sink does not include a faucet, so you will have to source one yourself. Many homeowners wonder if you can run hot and cold water in this sink… And that really depends on the faucet you purchase.

Next in line, we have the 21” outdoor kitchen sink. This is often considered a slightly larger, upgraded version of the 16 x 18. Instead of just a basin… This outdoor kitchen sink includes a faucet, as well as several other features. The 21” sink will also come with a soap dispenser, integrated cutting board, and cover when not in use. Additionally, this sink comes equipped with hot and cold water hookups. Now, there’s one more outdoor kitchen sink to consider for your BBQ island… But you’ll just have to watch the rest of this video to find out what it is!

hey what’s going on everyone it’s James here with RTA Outdoor Living we are here bringing you another video today today we are going to be talking about the three different types of sinks that we offer through coyote the best sink for you will really depend on the

00:14
application and how you intend to use it we will go through the pros and cons of each sink and if you’re considering which option would be best for you this video will likely help you come to that conclusion let’s start with the most basic sink that coyote offers this is

00:29
going to be the 16 by 18 sink which is a medium-sized sink and it’s pretty simple and straightforward the sink would be large enough to wash dishes but doesn’t come with a lot of additional features it’s constructed completely out of 304 stainless steel so it’ll be just as

00:45
durable as the other sinks that we’ll go through the sink does come with a drain and a strainer but it doesn’t come with a faucet so you’d have to source that on your own whether the sink will be equipped for hot and cold water will really just depend on the type of faucet

00:60
that you purchase if you work with RTA on your outdoor kitchen we would drill a hole in your countertop for the faucet so that you can easily incorporate the faucet into your outdoor kitchen island next will be really what’s considered an upgraded version of the 16×18 sink this

01:16
sink is a little bit larger than the 16 by 18 sink and comes with some additional features that makes this approach a little bit more streamlined this sync is not only going to be a bit larger it will also come with a built-in faucet soap dispenser and a stainless

01:32
steel cover and even an integrated cutting board it is still constructed completely out of 304 stainless steel so it’ll be just as durable as the 16 by 18 sink this sink is a true drop in sync where the flanges will sit on top of your countertop the faucet on the 21 inch sink is

01:50
equipped with hot and cold water hookups the 21 inch sink is a bit more money than the 16 by 18 sink but if you consider that you’ll avoid having to buy a faucet the additional features that you get and the fact that it’s a nicer sink overall this is why we would most

02:05
commonly recommend this option over the 16 by 18 sink the last option would be the refreshment Center this is technically more than a sink and is the most expensive option but it has much greater functionality than the other two sinks it is a cocktail station of sorts

02:21
that can really enhance your layout the refreshment Center is built out of 304 stainless steel like the other two options on the left hand side you will see the sink this does have a built-in faucet that is a single line hookup in front of the sink you will see an

02:35
integrated cutting board for dicing up some limes and lemons for your drinks and on the right hand side there’s a drop in cooler that’s integrated into the appliance this is great for keeping drinks on Ice throughout the day in the dropping cooler there will be some trays

02:49
that are great for storing some diced up lemons limes and other types of garnishes in front of the appliance you will have some dry storage for storing condiments and things of that nature to the right you have a towel hook and a bottle opener the sink on the

03:05
refreshment Center is not very large and is really useful for washing hands and doing some basic things the sink really is not large enough to wash dishes or anything like that so if you’re looking for that type of functionality out of your sink we would

03:19
not recommend using the refreshment Center adding a sink to your outdoor kitchen layout is a great opportunity to add even more functionality to your outdoor space we hope that this video was helpful in outlining the different sync options that we offer if you are new to
