RTA Outdoor Living Installation | Assembling the Corners

After you’ve got your panels settled… The next step of your RTA Outdoor Living installation is placing the corners! It’s even easier than the previous step.

But before we explain how it’s done… Let’s take a closer look at these corners. Recently, RTA has switched to providing concrete corners for your island.

Why?

There’s a couple reasons why. Making concrete corners in-house allows us to have full control over the quality you receive. Your corners will be just as durable as your island… And will match your outdoor kitchen perfectly in both dimensions and color. Alright, let’s get back to the RTA Outdoor Living Installation. You’ve got your panels in place… And now it’s time to assemble the corners.

First, you’ll apply a thick bead of caulk to the interior of your corner. Then, you’ll align the corner with the corner on your island. Applying pressure evenly throughout the corner… Press firmly for 5-10 seconds. Remove pressure, and you’re done! Just don’t disturb your corners over the course of the following 24 hours… The caulk will dry over this time.

And that’s it!

There’s only a few more steps until you’ll be enjoying outdoor kitchen bliss. Hopefully, you’re beginning to see that the RTA Outdoor Living installation process is nothing to be intimidated by! Once you’ve seen an example or two… You’ll likely feel confident that you can do this.

And it’s absolutely true, you can! Should you need a little more guidance… We’re only a phone call or email away!

absolutely absolutely go on there that looks that looks substantial that looks finished they’re at a 90 degree angle uh you know exactly the with your corner of your kitchen the back the backs of them are smooth so it’s got a technology in it where you

00:40
push it on there hold it for five seconds it’s stuck you better have it in the right place yes yes so what i suggest is a nice healthy bead on the back of the corner all you want to do [Music] is push that corner nice and tight into the corner like i said hold it for

five to ten seconds and she’s on there well if i liked it without the corners would i have to put them on they don’t add anything do they so our inside corners here especially our plank finish are made to where you can put a corner on it or not put a

01:23
corner on it depends on your preference but as you can see you know our lines in the plank match so if you put them together they just go around same way with our weathered wood same with our stack stone it it all comes together so once again it’s just your preference

whether you want to put a corner on or not put a corner on if you are putting a corner on you’ve got a half inch gap here and it just does the same thing slides right in give her a little love tap not going anywhere and it gives it a finished look that looks great you
