When you’re looking to elevate your backyard… You want something fun and trendy.
But at the same time, you don’t want it to go out of style in a few years!
Here are the top trends for Miami outdoor kitchens that are both fun and timeless.
Ice Maker and Bin for Warm Summer Days
When you imagine cooking at your outdoor kitchen… You’re likely dreaming of warm, summer days and BBQ (or your favorite kind of food… An outdoor kitchen can do it all).
But let’s be realistic.
Miami can get hot!
One of the best ways to combat the heat is to get an outdoor kitchen ice maker.
They come in a variety of sizes, and you can choose different shapes of ice for different experiences.
Need more ice? You can also get a drop-in ice bin or cooler.
This will store ice for your party while your ice maker continues to freeze more throughout the evening.
It’s the perfect way to stay cool in Southern Florida.
Want to bring your idea to life?
Outdoor Kitchen Roof
On the topic of heat… One way to get through the hot summers while staying outside is with an outdoor kitchen roof.
They’re the perfect way to combine aesthetics and functionality.
A roof keeps the hot sun off… And protects your new outdoor kitchen from rain!
Your whole outdoor living space will last longer with protection from an outdoor roof… So they’re a good economic choice, too.
These can take the form of a pergola, gazebo, awning… And more!
Outdoor Kitchen and Pool
Are an ice maker and roof just not enough to beat the heat?
We can’t blame you.
Pairing an outdoor kitchen with a pool is the ultimate way to keep cool during the summer.
There are so many shapes and sizes to choose from… So the world is your oyster here!
The backyard parties will be unbeatable… And a high quality pool and outdoor kitchen combo can last for decades!
If you want to add even more pizzazz… You can also add a slide, water polo net, or a shallow area for relaxing!
An outdoor kitchen and pool combo is the best way to make the most of the Miami weather.
Multiple Cooking Stations
A single built-in grill for your outdoor kitchen is a thing of the past.
After all… It makes sense to take advantage of this awesome outdoor cooking opportunity and go big in ways you just can’t with your indoor kitchen!
In addition to a grill… Many people in Florida are venturing into other cooking appliances.
For example, some people get an outdoor pizza oven.
These ovens get to a super-hot temperature that an ordinary oven just can’t reach… And so the pizza will be out of this world.
Other people go the kamado cooker route.
Whether you choose a Coyote Asado or Big Green Egg… Or even another variation of this popular smoker… You’re sure to enjoy the juicy meats and variety of cooking styles a kamado cooker offers.
There’s also the Argentinian grill, which is surging in popularity in Southern Florida! This old-world cooking style can produce some of the best beef you’ve ever tasted!
There are also power burners and side burners if you want to whip up some side dishes… And a flat top griddle for things like pancakes or hibachi.
Really, your options are endless… So you can get creative!
There isn’t much we need to say about this awesome trend… It’s in the name!
A Florida room is a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors and your outdoor kitchen… Bug free!
Down in your neck of the woods… This is an extension of your home that comes in the form of a screen room.
It’ll also protect you from wind and rain… So you can enjoy BBQing outside all year round.
Outdoor Kitchen Bar
If your goals are more about the drinks, ambiance, and experience… You might be looking for an outdoor kitchen bar!
While you can still have all of the great cooking elements of an island… You can focus your attention on appliances like a kegerator, beverage center, outdoor sink, or outdoor refrigerator.
Many people also add extra countertop space so that guests can sit on bar stools while you cook and bartend.
The outdoor ice maker we mentioned earlier will come in handy here, too… But you may want to consider getting spherical or top-hat-shaped ice to make it really stand out for a true outdoor bar experience.
To add to the ambiance… Some people will add a bit of extra flair with tiki torches, LED lights, or other fun outdoor kitchen accessories!
But how do you make your dreams a reality?
In Miami, this primarily looks like visiting a showroom or contacting a builder!
Figuring out which builder is right for you can be tough… So we’ve done the work for you! We’ll start with some showrooms, then move onto builders.
Outdoor Kitchen Miami Florida Showrooms
While there’s nothing wrong with ordering an outdoor kitchen without seeing it first… You might prefer to see one in person before you buy.
If that sounds like you… You’ll likely be interested in visiting a local showroom. Let’s discuss a few of the most popular options in the Miami area!
Paradise Grills is the first outdoor kitchen showroom that we’ll cover.
They create welded aluminum frames as a structure for your outdoor kitchen island.
You can choose between ten grill island designs… Plus another ten different bar configurations.
You’ll have the option between several different grills, some of which are 304 stainless steel. The structure of each grill comes with a lifetime structural warranty!
When you want to design your Paradise Grills outdoor kitchen bar… You can use their online design tool. You’ll be able to see a visual representation of your space before you purchase.
This will include the outdoor kitchen, an outdoor bar if you choose one, and extra features like lounge chairs or a fire pit.
You can also choose an outdoor kitchen roof to cover your space, including tiki-style coverings.
They don’t yet have any Google reviews, but they have a 4.17 out of 5 star rating from over 300 ratings on the Better Business Bureau.
Evenings Delight has a variety of outdoor kitchens you can choose from.
You’ll find islands for entertaining, cooking, and more!
These islands are prefab outdoor kitchens… So there won’t be an option to customize your own. They will also arrive in your backyard fully assembled.
They have 4.2 stars from 107 Google reviews.
Smoky’s Kitchens specializes in outdoor kitchen cabinets.
They use HDPE (a form of plastic) to construct some of their cabinets… Which is a high-quality material that is both durable and easy to clean.
HDPE is also resistant to most chemicals and solvents… which means it won’t absorb oils or grease from your cooking.
You’ll want to ensure that their HDPE cabinets come with insulated jackets for the appliances. While it’s a durable material, if exposed to high heat without protection… It can melt!
Also, HDPE will slowly fade over time in the sun… But this can be delayed by putting your cabinets underneath an outdoor roof.
Of course, it’s better for all outdoor kitchens to be covered… So this isn’t anything out of the ordinary.
They also offer cabinets from Danver… Which is a quality brand that constructs its cabinets with powder-coated 304 stainless steel.
Stainless steel makes a good outdoor kitchen material… So there’s really no bad choice here.
While you won’t get the natural aesthetic from these cabinets… They look very modern and sleek and will hold up well in a Florida climate.
Smoky’s has no Google reviews to report.
Luxapatio has two options for your outdoor kitchen needs.

A Miami outdoor kitchen can be made of a variety of materials! Concrete is one of the most durable materials and can be formed to look like all kinds of other materials, such as brick, stone, and wood.
You can certainly install your Miami outdoor kitchen on a porch! If the porch is made of wood, like a deck, you’ll want to determine how much weight it can hold before you make your Miami outdoor kitchen design. Also make sure that the area is well-ventilated.
While there is a wide variety of outdoor kitchen materials you can use… A great choice for a Miami outdoor kitchen will always be concrete! This is a durable material that can take on the high humidity of Floridian summers… And can be engineered to look like wood, bricks, stone, and more!
